Membership Grows: Year in Review

Of course, we appreciate the exposure we have gotten from our booth at both Expo East and Expo West.  Attendance at all of these shows has proven beneficial, since we continue to meet with retailers who are hearing about INFRA for the first time.

In addition to trade show attendance, we also introduced some new marketing strategies. We developed the INFRA “Toolbox,” which provides answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding INFRA. The “Toolbox” can easily be used by our current members, as well as other industry partners when they have the opportunity to speak to independent retailers.

We also designed a multi-step mailing campaign, creating three separate postcards that highlighted the benefits of INFRA membership. This campaign proved successful and resulted in a number of inquiries for further information regarding INFRA. One new member submitted an application based on the postcard mailing alone.

Based on the goals we set at our recent staff planning session, 2010 will also be a busy year for recruiting, and we look forward to introducing the benefits of membership to even more retailers.
